Mindfulness · 01 Concept

Mindfulness practice helps us anchor our mind in the here and now.

It’s the kind of awareness that emerges when we deliberately and non-judgmentally focus our attention on the present moment.

That’s the practical definition of Mindfulness. It has three key elements: intentional attention, a non-judgmental attitude, and an understanding of “the present.”

Mindfulness helps with self-understanding, letting go of self-centeredness, and cultivating greater empathy and compassion for others.

You can imagine your thoughts as leaves floating down a river. You stand on the bank, watching them drift by, without falling into the water yourself.
